Why not escape the hustle of everyday life and stay under the Arctic starry sky, with the most amazing view of fjord, mountains and northern lights? With us, you live in harmony with nature.

It is warm and comfortable inside the igloo, with a modern heat pump installed. A cooler box can be used as a fridge, and a kettle is available for boiling water. Water can be filled up at the host's cabin next door. There is no built-in toilet, but a cozy outhouse.

Right below the igloo you have a stunning view of fjord and mountains. There is a fire pit on the property and access to the sea nearby. In summer you can rent a boat if you enjoy fishing. Outside the igloo there is a large, lovely terrace if you want to sit out, take photos and enjoy the peace and quiet.

During the winter season you park the car up by the road, but we have a sledge you can use to pull your equipment down. It is about 20 metres to walk down to the cabin.

The hosts are available at times and can be used as guides on request, for example to tell you about the northern lights and anything else you might wonder about. We also fill up the water tank and can help stock the fridge if you don't have a car yourself. Such hosting can be arranged in advance.

Guest access: You have access to the entire area except our own cabin located right next door. In time you may also try sleeping in hammocks in our new lean-to shelter on the property.

We recommend: Bring warm clothes and good shoes, preferably with spikes, in winter. The deck outside the igloo can get slippery in late autumn and winter.
