We have chosen to start and end this trip a little earlier than our usual northern lights trips. This is because we have experienced that the late evening trips can be somewhat tiring for older people and families with children. We therefore gladly recommend this trip for these groups if they want to take the evening a little earlier than at midnight. The Northern Lights can often show up late afternoon and early evening, so the chance is quite high to experience this also on this trip. We have desided to serve hot drinks and homemade waffles or cakes on this early evening trip, but it will be possible to order food if desired. Then you only take a phone call a few hours before departure, and we will fix it.

The northern lights from the sea side are a special and extremely beautiful sight. Light pollution literally disappears in the Black Sea. We have around 80% score during a winter season in, then including only what you can see with the "naked eye". As an added bonus, you get a fantastic view of Tromsø and the surrounding area. We take safety seriously and have annual inspections of boats and other equipment. All our passengers are well insured on board.

We follow all advice from the Norwegian Directorate of Health regarding the coronary pandemic. We clean all equipment daily and after each trip. All guests who feel sick on arrival will be asked to leave the boat. A full refund will be given if the cancellation can be related to illness or other in connection with the corona epidemic. Attendance at the outer floating jetty north of Scandic Ishavshotel at our red and white catamaran MB Havcruise. Meet at least 15 minutes before departure.
